What is the Rising Stars award?  

ASA Rising Stars is a program aimed at engaging up-and-coming appraisal professionals by honoring young leaders who have
demonstrated significant contributions and successes throughout
the year within the valuation profession

Who can be Nominated? 

To be eligible for consideration, nominees must be age 40 and under at the time of their nomination.  

Can I Nominate Myself? 

Yes, self-nominations are welcome. 

Can I Nominate More than One Person? 

Yes, you may nominate as many people as you like.  You will need to fill out an individual nomination form for each person you wish to nominate.   

Will More Than One Nominee from the Same Company be Accepted?

Yes, we will accept more than one nominee from the same company. 

Can I Provide the Nomination Information Over the Phone all with the Name of the Person Iʼd Like to Nominate?   

No.  You need to complete your nomination form online.

I Would Like to Nominate Someone, but They will Turn 40 Before the Awards Event. Can I Still Nominate that Person? 

As long as the individual is age 40 and under during the nomination process.  

Is There a Fee to Nominate Someone?  

No, there are no fees for making a nomination.  

How do I Know if My Nomination Went Through?  

An e-mail confirmation will be sent once you have submitted your online nomination form.  

Does Being Nominated Multiple Times Help My Chances of Winning? 

No, being nominated multiple times does not help your chances of winning.  

When is the Deadline to Submit a Nomination? 

The Deadline for submitting nominations is June 30 each year.

Can I Contact You to See How My Nominee is Doing in the Judging Process?   

The voting process is confidential.  Information on individual nominees will not be provided. 

When will Winners be Announced? 

Winners will be announced at the annual International Conference in the fall.
