If so, The Appraisal Foundation, the nation's leading authority on valuation and appraising, is looking for you. We are seeking qualified candidates to serve on the Business Valuation Resource Panel.
Mission of the BVRP
To provide specialized expertise to The Appraisal Foundation Board of Trustees and its committees, the Appraisal Standards Board and the Appraiser Qualifications Board to ensure public trust and to promote professionalism in the business valuation profession.
Purpose
The purpose of the BVRP is to oversee the development of BV valuation advisories, provide input on exposure drafts, and offer insight on emerging issues or other matters of like significance to the Board of Trustees, ASB, or AQB pertaining to the Business Valuation discipline. The panel was established to assemble representatives from diverse backgrounds within the discipline of valuation so that the Foundation’s Boards:
Service on the panel is voluntary; panelists will not be compensated for their time, nor their travel expenses to any Foundation or panel events. However, you will have a hand in shaping the guidance that will impact the future of business valuation.
The panelists will serve staggered terms commencing January 1, 2025, for up to three years. Re‐appointments thereafter will be made on an annual basis as needed.
