My ASA Dues Invoice is Different?!

Let’s kick this off with some good news…ASA DUES ARE NOT INCREASING! 😊

Now that we have your attention, we wanted to let you know about an important change to your ASA dues billing cycle. ASA is transitioning from an anniversary billing to annual billing meaning all dues payments will be due annually on June 30


Here's a Quick Recap of What to Expect

  1. Annual Renewal Date: Effective 2025, all membership renewals will be due on June 30th each year, regardless of your original join date. This fixed date will eliminate the hassle of remembering multiple renewal deadlines and allow you to plan ahead more effectively.
  2. Streamlined Processes: Our team is dedicated to enhancing the value of your membership by streamlining our internal processes. This means more focus on delivering top-notch services and support tailored to your needs.
  3. Your Feedback Matters: The decision to transition to an annual dues cycle was informed by your valuable feedback. We're committed to listening to our members and continuously improving your membership experience.
  4. No Rate Increases: Rest assured, there will be no rate increases during the transition period. You can expect the same level of service and benefits without any additional financial burden.


Next Steps

As we move forward with this transition, you'll receive prorated dues invoices via e-mail over the next year. Then, after the transition is complete in May 2025, you'll get a full invoice for your 2026 renewal, due on June 30th, 2025.

FAQs

There are lots of internal reasons including more precise budgeting and simplifying the process, but the real reason is we want staff spending their time improving your membership experience, not sending out invoices each month.

 

Rest assured, this change will not affect your current membership status or any benefits associated with your membership. Your support and commitment to our organization are greatly appreciated, and we believe this transition will ultimately serve to strengthen our community.


Remember the good news? Most members will actually see a decrease on their upcoming dues invoice. The “catch” is only that you will be paying your dues again by June 30 next year so you will pay a pro-rated amount when your dues are normally due, and you will pay again in June for the following 12 months.


Great! We can set you up for automatic installment dues payments. Once you are signed up, you won’t have to do anything else.
