Douglas Krieser, FASA, FRICS, is the Managing Director at Valcon Partners, LTD. With over 34 years of experience, he specializes in providing machinery and equipment valuations for financial reporting, ad valorem tax, and litigation across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and South America. He has testified as an expert witness in various state courts and federal bankruptcy court. He currently is an instructor for the MTS Principles of Valuation course and has held numerous leadership roles including Past President of ASA and Past Chair of the Board of Examiners. Mr. Krieser holds the prestigious FASA designation, ASA's highest recognition.
Tim Roy, ASA, is the owner of Capitale Analytics. He specializes in providing machinery and equipment appraisals for small-to-middle market business owners, lenders, attorneys, accountants, brokers, and other advisors. Leveraging his early career experience in liquidation, he offers practical advice on the real-world value factors affecting the marketability of assets. Mr. Roy currently serves as the ASA MTS Discipline Committee Vice Chair, co-editor of the MTS Journal, and an MTS Principles of Valuation course instructor. He holds the designation of Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Machinery & Technical Specialties.
Jamie Allen, ASA, is the Executive Vice President at Newmark, specializing in machinery and equipment valuation with over 20 years of experience. She works with corporations, financial institutions, private equipment firms, and investment and accounting firms across industries like consumer and industrial products, printing, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, energy, automotive, food and beverage, mining, retail, and hospitality. Jamie chairs the ASA MTS Discipline Committee, serves on the ASA International Conference Committee, and is an MTS Principles of Valuation course instructor. She holds the designation of Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Machinery & Technical Specialties.
Richard Ellsworth, ASA, IA, is a senior advisor for valuations at Leo Berwick. With over 40 years of global experience, he specializes in valuation services for the power and renewable energy industries. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Certified Cost Professional (CCP). Mr. Ellsworth is the current Education Chair of the ASA MTS Discipline Committee and an MTS Principles of Valuation course instructor. He holds the designation of Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Business Valuation, Machinery & Technical Specialties, and Appraisal Review & Management.
