New ASA Region Governance Changes Take Effect

July 1, 2024

Starting July 1, 2024, ASA will undergo a restructuring and realignment of its geographic regional governors, moving from five into four regional governors overseeing four regions.

These changes, part of the Board of Governors' larger 2023 initiative designed to enhance governance efficiency, used transitions aligned with outgoing regional governor leadership terms.

In April 2023, ASA International President Rick Berkemeier and ASA CEO Johnnie White presented an outline of these changes during an ASA Virtual Town Hall. A recording of this meeting can be viewed here.

Further details about the leadership changes can be found on ASA’s Blog.
