Leaders from ASA, AICPA, The Appraisal Foundation, Appraisal Institute, Appraisal Institute of Canada, CBV Institute, International Valuation Standards Council, and RICS gathered in New York City last month hosted by the AICPA at their Manhattan office.
The agenda included updates on International Valuation Standards Council activities and discussions on enhancing future collaboration.
Nick Talbot, CEO, IVSC, shared “It was great to spend some more time with many of the most influential valuation professional organization leaders in North America to exchange views on how we can all better work together for the benefit of the appraisal profession.”
Dr. Christine Sawchuk, President and CEO of CBV Institute, emphasized the importance of the meeting, highlighting the value of exchanging challenges, insights on emerging issues, opportunities, and successes in a trusted environment.
